Review of our visit to Say Yes To Play
Overall, our kids had a great time at Say Yes To Play. We were greeted by friendly staff who immediately made us feel at home. Here is a summary of our experiences…
Play equipment
There is a nice variety of toys and play equipment for kids to use at Say Yes To Play. The main focus is of course on the soft play area. This double height play cage houses a range of foam obstacles to interact with, as well as a slide and ball pit. Our kids had a great time chasing each other around in it.
The fun doesn’t stop there though. Besides the soft play cage there is plenty of space for other games. Cute little areas have been created for imagination play, including themed car garage, shop and dress up zones. There are also ride on toys to charge around the large, padded floor area on.
Food and drink
There is a full bar and variety of food available to purchase. The menu isn’t enormous but is reasonably priced. There are sandwiches, snacks and kids’ hot meals, as well as their speciality mini pancakes.
We visited outside of a meal time but we did try some of the pancakes with chocolate on the side. It is safe to say that they were (unsurprisingly) delicious!
Quality of the premises
The commercial unit that houses Say Yes To Play is impressively large, especially when compared to some of the other smaller local indoor play centres. There is plenty of space for children to move about and play without feeling crowded.
The building is also fully air conditioned, and was kept at a very pleasant temperature throughout our visit. There is loads of seating, so I wouldn’t imagine finding somewhere to sit would ever be a problem.
Say Yes To Play also hosts birthday parties for kids, with a separate area set aside for dining during these parties. Different party packages are available to choose between.
In Summary
We were very impressed with our visit to Say Yes To Play. While the size may not compare to some of the mega soft plays we’ve visited in the UK, it is nonetheless both larger and with a better variety of play equipment than anywhere else found locally here in the south of Costa Blanca.
Our kids enjoyed themselves in both the soft play section and playing with the other toys and dress up clothes. When it was time for us to leave they wanted to stay for longer, which is always a good sign.
The prices seem very fair for all that is on offer. The discount for additional children is also a nice touch. For families like us with multiple children, these sort of activities can otherwise quickly get very expensive!
Overall, our kids left with smiles on their faces. They definitely had fun at Say Yes To Play. We wish this new venture all the best and we’ll be back again soon for sure.
