Alla ricerca di un'attività indoor straordinaria per bambini in Costa Blanca? Abbiamo visitato Street Jump pronti per un po' di eccitazione

introduzione

If it’s one of those days when you’re looking for an indoor activity for kids in Costa Blanca, sometimes inspiration can be hard to come by. Understandably, given the year round great weather that the region boasts, many of the things to do for kids are based outdoors.

Tuttavia, whether to escape the heat for a bit, or on a rare rainy day, sometimes an activity inside can provide a welcome distraction.

Arguably Costa Blanca’s premier indoor play centre attraction is Salto di strada. This facility houses a trampoline park, large soft play and inflatable obstacle course. It’s a firm favourite with both local and visiting children. I know my kids love it.

What play equipment is there at Street Jump, Elche?

Street Jump is split into 3 separate zones, with a separate entrance ticket required for each. IL 3 zones are as follows:

Adventure Zone

For children aged 1-9

IL Adventure Zone is Street Jump’s soft play area. With a huge, four-level soft play cage, it is by far the largest indoor soft play that we have come across in Costa Blanca. There are an impressive range of obstacles and play equipment for children to interact with, as well as 14 slides and a mini football pitch.

Trampoline Zone

For children aged over 10, or over 1.30m in height

Come suggerisce il nome, IL Trampoline Zone is Street Jump’s trampoline park. With a large area of adjacent trampolines, there are free jump areas, as well as trampolines with basketball hoops and ones set at angles.

As well as trampolines, there are also boulder climbing walls and a foam pit and giant airbag to jump onto.

Bubble Jump Zone

For children over 1.30m in height

Street Jump’s newest offering is their Bubble Jump Zone. This is an inflatable obstacle course that snakes back and forth with different challenges in each section.

As well as the inflatable course, this section also houses the biggest slides in Street Jump, including one that you descend on an inflatable tyre or sledge.

What is the cost of entry to Street Jump, Elche?

The price of entry to Street Jump varies depending on the day of visit and activity undertaken. Each zone is charged for separately, with the Trampoline Zone and Bubble Jump Zone priced by the hour (these sessions start at the beginning of each hour so aim to arrive at the start to get the full time allowance).

It is best to check their sito web for all the up to date entry costs.

Entry for summer 2024 is from €11 for the Trampoline and Bubble Jump Zones, and from €12 for the Adventure Zone. Sometimes combined tickets are available for using more than one zone in a visit.

As is usually the case with trampoline parks, it is also obligatory to buy the special branded Street Jump socks to be allowed entry into any of the zones in the play centre. These can be bought for €2 a pair at reception. It is possible to reuse these socks for any subsequent visits, but you are not allowed to enter with socks from any other trampoline park.

Review of our visit to Street Jump, Elche

We have now visited Street Jump on several occasions with our kids (invecchiato 9, 7, 5 & 4). One of them has even had one of their birthday partys there. This has given them (the older two at least) the opportunity to now try out all of the zones and equipment. My kids always seem to have a great time there. It’s a brilliant indoor activity for kids in Costa Blanca.

On our most recent visit, il mio maggiore 2 children sampled the Bubble Jump Zone, with a ticket that also allowed them entry into the Adventure Zone, while my youngest 2 just played in the Adventure Zone.

Play Equipment

Having tried out all 3 zones, I can safely report that all are great fun for kids. It is worth noting though that the age/height restrictions on the Trampoline and Bubble Jump Zones mean that younger children can only use the Adventure Zone (soft play area).

To be honest, this is not too much of a problem as I think the adventure zone is actually the most fun of all the zones anyway. The size and range of equipment rival some of the larger soft play centres that we have visited in the UK, and far exceed the other smaller indoor play centres here in Costa Blanca. The cost of entry is for the whole session and kids can be entertained in there for ages.

The Trampoline Zone is also a lot of fun for anyone who loves to bounce! My eldest two can happily amuse themselves in there. They particularly like the big jumps into the foam pit and onto the giant airbag.

The Bubble Jump Zone also makes a good addition to the overall offering. Tuttavia, while the inflatable course is fun and the slides are big and fast, I don’t think there is as much in that zone to keep kids entertained for a long time. A 1 hour session is more than enough.

Building and cafe

As you can imagine, the building that houses Street Jump is really big. Dopotutto, there is a lot going on inside! The whole premises is air conditioned and the temperature is pretty comfortable in there for both playing children and watching adults.

There is a cafe/bar area with plenty of seating. A full range of drinks and a limited menu of food and snacks is served. The food is not always brilliant though, so I’d recommend eating elsewhere locally either before or after your visit.

Rapporto qualità-prezzo

Complessivamente, given the scale of the play centre and the range of equipment available, I’d say that as an indoor activity for kids in Costa Blanca, Street Jump in Elche respresents pretty good value for money. Detto ciò, there is no escaping the fact that it is priced higher than some other smaller indoor play centres.

For very young children the higher pricetag may not be worth it, as it is a lot to pay if there’s a chance they won’t make full use of the equipment. For my 4 though, this is never a problem.

Obviously, for larger families like ours, these entry costs can soon mount up. There’s no way we’d be able to visit Street Jump every weekfor us it is definitely more of a treat destination.

In sintesi

My kids always love going to Street Jump in Elche. It is in my mind without doubt the best indoor activity for kids in Costa Blanca. My children have tried all the zones and had fun in them all. I think if they had to rank them in order of which is their favourite, they’d say that the Adventure Zone (gioco morbido) is the best, followed by the Trampoline Zone and then the Bubble Jump Zone. All kids are different though, so I’m sure others would disagree!

Anche se un po' caro (especially for a family with 4 kids), as a special treat a couple of times a year it is great to have such a superb facility right here in Costa Blanca. The central location makes it accessible to people from the whole region as well. I’m happy to pay the money considering the quality of all that is on offer there.

Usually, pretty much as soon as we’ve left my kids are askingwhen can we go back to Street Jump?”. This should tell you everything you need to know.
